Hello Tatyana and Clovis:

I have been meaning to contact you for sometime with regard to our partnerships in the Fall.   I am currently in North Carolina a a conference that will help advance ECC's efforts in the international educational realm.  http://www.reflector.com/local/content/news/stories/2008/05/20/bowles.html

I have developed a schedule based on my academic calendar and would like to present it to you.  This will provide you with exact dates that are possible connection dates. Once the dates are solidified we can begin to work on topics, etc.   My original plan, which can easily be changed, is to have 5 total connections per partner per month for September, October and November.  I am gong to spend a few weeks in August preparing the students for the connections and a few weeks in December pull all the learning together in a student project.

Please let me know which of these months would work best for you and I can put together a preliminary schedule and forward on to you.   I will also be taking on a third partner, and I should know who they will be over the next 2-3 weeks.  In the original program model, each school "takes turns" connecting with one another.  In this scenario, USA would connect with Ukraine then with Lebanon and, if you decided to do this, Lebanon would connect with Ukraine and then you would each have a turn with the third partner.   we can discuss this at a later date.  Again this is optional but completely possible.  I would like to initially focus efforts, however, on completing our schedule first, then I will send you detailed information related to the structure of the class/topics as prescribed by the Global Partners in Education model.   I appreciate your feedback and will work as diligently as possible to get a workable schedule that makes us all happy.

Kell
